About Ms. Sandra Merry (She/Her)

Sandra Merry helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults throughout Massachusetts find effective treatment for mental health challenges through thoughtful psychiatric care and personalized medication management. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, she partners with patients to better understand their symptoms, improve daily functioning, and work toward lasting emotional wellness. Sandra has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting individuals with a wide range of additional mental health concerns.

With more than 20 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Sandra brings a broad healthcare perspective to psychiatric treatment. She understands how emotional health, physical health, family dynamics, and life stressors can intersect, and she uses that knowledge to develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s unique needs. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, education, and helping patients feel confident in their treatment decisions.

Sandra also works with individuals experiencing bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), PTSD and trauma-related concerns, and women’s mental health issues. She is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and respected while receiving evidence-based care. In addition to these areas of expertise, she provides support for a variety of other mental health conditions and life challenges.

Her clinical approach is informed by principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. While specializing in medication management, Sandra recognizes the value of a comprehensive treatment approach that may include therapy, lifestyle changes, skill development, and ongoing support to help patients achieve their goals.

Sandra earned her education through Fitchburg State College and the University of New Hampshire. Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to helping patients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and improve their overall quality of life.

Outside of work, Sandra enjoys yoga, meditation, hiking, cooking, gardening, playing with her children, and spending days at the beach. These interests reflect her belief in the importance of balance, wellness, and meaningful connection in everyday life.
