Arturo Lopez-Casanova, MSN, CNP, Psychiatry in Lexington, Massachusetts

Arturo Lopez-Casanova, NP is an ANCC Board Certified Lifespan Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with licensure in Massachusetts. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Trinity College Arturo went on to work at McLean Hospital’s DBT focused residential programs, Gunderson Residence and 3-East Programs. Arturo returned to school and received his BSN and MSN from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. During his tenure at MGHIHP Arturo received a Presidential Merit Scholarship and was a recipient of the John Hilton Knowles Fellowship Fund. During the completion of his NP degree, he returned to McLean hospital to work as an inpatient nurse in McLean’s residential eating disorder center, Klarman Residence. His clinical experience at MGHIHP included training through the Addictions Consultation Team at MGH, working with dual diagnosis patients, and Outpatient Psychiatry with children and adolescents through You Inc., a behavioral health organization in Worcester that focuses on serving children in foster care. Arturo’s background allows him to blend skills-based behavioral strategies for improving mental health with pharmacological evidenced based treatment.
