Catelyn (VanAuken) Inman is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 13 years of mental healthcare experience. She specializes in psychotropic medication management for an array of mental health diagnoses with a particular interest in female mental health across the lifespan.

Catelyn believes many vital aspects of successful medication management include: safety and tolerability, greatest potential for success, adhering to best evidence-based practices, and ensuring the benefits outweigh the risks of any medication prescribed. She has worked with a diverse client population, closely partnering with each individual to collaborate in creating comprehensive treatment plans. She actively listens to every concern and diligently follows through to enable healthy outcomes. Catelyn is compassionate and empathetic, nonjudgemental, and down-to-earth.

Catelyn can offer a Christian, faith-based perspective and recommendations alongside medical treatment to those who are interested. She is deeply involved in her church and “Cove Riders – Motorcycle Life Group.” She enjoys spending quality time with her husband, and two beautiful children. She has a miniature, long-haired, weenie-dog named “Dazie” that goes practically everywhere she does. She loves to read, watch movies, paint, and hike. Catelyn obtained her Master of Science Nursing (MSN) degree from Walden University and is a graduate and alum of Appalachian State University, (Go Mountaineers!)
