When appropriate, she incorporates mindfulness-based strategies and conducts medical procedure evaluations as part of comprehensive psychiatric care. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Elva built a strong clinical foundation as a Registered Nurse caring for individuals across a broad range of psychiatric settings. Her education includes training from Rowan College South Jersey, Western Governors University, and Post University. She is dedicated to ongoing professional growth and staying informed about advancements in psychiatric treatment and mental health care. Outside of work, Elva enjoys running, hiking, and spending time walking her dogs. She is also working toward a personal goal of visiting all of the national parks, reflecting her appreciation for wellness, exploration, and balance in life.
