Kayla Gehret helps adults and older adults across Ohio find relief from mental health challenges and build a path toward greater emotional well-being. As a provider at LifeStance Health, she offers compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, goals, and strengths. She works collaboratively with patients to address concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression while helping them develop practical strategies to improve daily functioning and overall quality of life.

Kayla is especially passionate about treating Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). She understands how these conditions can affect relationships, work performance, self-confidence, and overall wellness. Her approach focuses on helping patients better understand their symptoms, identify effective coping strategies, and create realistic treatment plans that support lasting progress. She values open communication and believes that meaningful care begins with understanding each person’s individual story.

Drawing from evidence-based approaches, Kayla incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques into her work when appropriate. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she has experience supporting individuals facing trauma-related concerns, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, sleep difficulties, and life transitions. She recognizes that mental health is deeply connected to physical health, relationships, and life circumstances, and she strives to provide care that addresses the whole person.

Kayla also has experience working with military veterans, first responders, and individuals recovering from head injuries. She appreciates the unique challenges these populations may encounter and is committed to providing a respectful, supportive environment where patients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

Since beginning her practice in 2023, Kayla has remained dedicated to helping patients navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, exploring local restaurants, and spending time outdoors. Camping with her husband, dogs, and horses is one of her favorite ways to recharge and maintain balance in her own life.
