About Jason Guevara (He/Him)
Jason Guevara helps adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults navigate mental health challenges with compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care. Practicing at LifeStance Health, he serves patients throughout Ohio and works collaboratively with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans that support long-term wellness and meaningful life goals. Through medication management and psychiatric evaluation, he helps patients gain greater stability, confidence, and control over their mental health.
As a prescriber, Jason has experience treating a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also providing care for individuals facing many other mental health concerns. He takes a thoughtful, patient-centered approach that emphasizes listening, understanding each person’s unique experiences, and creating treatment strategies tailored to their needs. His work supports patients through different stages of life, from adolescence through older adulthood.
Jason is particularly passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with alcohol and drug use issues. He recognizes the significant impact substance use can have on emotional health, relationships, and daily functioning, and he strives to provide nonjudgmental, supportive care that promotes recovery and resilience. Through psychiatric treatment and medication management when appropriate, he helps patients build healthier lives while addressing co-occurring mental health concerns.
He believes that successful treatment begins with trust, respect, and open communication. Jason partners closely with patients to ensure they feel informed and empowered throughout their care. His approach balances clinical expertise with genuine compassion, helping patients feel supported as they work toward improved mental health and well-being.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys staying active through sports and hiking. He also values time spent reading and watching movies, activities that help him maintain balance and perspective in his own life.
