About Amy Goodman-Brown (She/Her)

Amy Goodman-Brown helps adults and older adults throughout Ohio navigate mental health challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and a personalized approach to care. As a provider at LifeStance Health, she offers medication management and individual therapy for those seeking support with conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She understands that mental health concerns can affect every aspect of life and works collaboratively with patients to develop treatment plans that promote stability, resilience, and long-term wellness.

Amy is dedicated to creating a supportive, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard and respected. She takes time to understand each individual’s experiences, goals, and strengths, tailoring treatment to meet their unique needs. In addition to her primary areas of focus, she has experience supporting individuals with a variety of mental health concerns, including bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma-related conditions, obsessive-compulsive disorder, hoarding behaviors, psychosis, schizophrenia, and the psychological impacts of medical conditions.

Using mindfulness-based techniques alongside evidence-based psychiatric care, Amy helps patients build practical skills for managing symptoms, reducing stress, and improving overall quality of life. Whether someone is struggling with persistent anxiety, difficulties with attention and focus, or symptoms of depression, she strives to help them gain greater confidence and balance in their daily lives. She also offers support for additional mental health concerns beyond these focus areas.

Outside of her clinical work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, reading, singing, playing guitar, and taking walks with her dog. These personal interests help her maintain balance and bring a sense of warmth and authenticity to her interactions with patients.

Amy earned her education from Northern Kentucky University and the University of Cincinnati, where she developed the clinical foundation that supports her patient-centered approach today.
