Jeneba Sheriff, PMHNP-BC,
About Jeneba Sheriff (She/Her)
Jeneba Sheriff helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults across Texas find stability, symptom relief, and renewed hope through personalized psychiatric medication management. As a Nurse Practitioner at LifeStance Health, she partners with patients to better understand their mental health needs and develop treatment plans that support long-term wellness. Jeneba takes a compassionate, patient-centered approach, recognizing that every individual’s journey is unique and deserving of thoughtful, evidence-based care. Jeneba has extensive experience supporting patients facing ADHD, anxiety, and depression. She understands how these conditions can affect relationships, academic performance, work, and daily functioning. Through comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management, she helps patients gain greater control over their symptoms while working toward improved emotional health and quality of life. She also treats a variety of additional mental health conditions, tailoring care to each patient’s specific goals and circumstances. A particular area of passion for Jeneba is caring for individuals who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital. She recognizes that the transition from inpatient care back to everyday life can be challenging and often requires close monitoring, support, and medication management. Jeneba is dedicated to helping these patients maintain progress, reduce the risk of relapse, and build a strong foundation for recovery through consistent, collaborative psychiatric care. Her treatment philosophy emphasizes listening, education, and partnership. Jeneba incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)-informed principles alongside medication management to help patients better understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health treatment. Jeneba earned her degree from Walden University and remains committed to providing high-quality psychiatric care grounded in clinical best practices. She values building strong therapeutic relationships and helping patients navigate both short-term challenges and long-term mental health goals. Outside of work, Jeneba enjoys cooking, baking, and traveling. She appreciates opportunities to experience new cultures, explore different cuisines, and spend time engaging in activities that promote balance and well-being.
