I am in the early stages of therapy, and initially it was terrifying for me to dive into all of my issues. I will say my first appointment was terrifying for me, but my therapist, Melinda, really allowed for me to just settle in and feel comfortable. I didn’t feel like it was embarrassing or scary to discuss my problems, she did create a space for me to not feel judged or worry about how I would be perceived. I do look forward to our talks, and think that it is so beneficial to talk with someone that is not judgemental, and looks at your life stories with an objective lens, and chimes in when they need to steer the topic to dive in, or to remind you of what to look at and why. Finding a therapist I can relate to has always been difficult. I am very happy I was referred to LifeStance and didn't give up. Lacey is amazing. I feel seen and heard. She's had an amazing impact and I'll forever be grateful that I found her. Dr. Trinh is excellent as well. Both have made a wonderful difference in my life. Scheduling, appointments, medication- it's all been easy and convenient. I did not expect much and have been pleasantly surprised with the entire process. I'd recommend LifeStance. My personal opinion- they are great!

Before I was going to LifeStance, my previous psychiatrist was unreliable.. for a while I just accepted it. Finally I decided to find a new psychiatrist and LifeStance was there for me! Their online portal is convenient for refilling medications and messaging my doctor (who responds in a timely manner). I am grateful for the consistency in care and couldn’t ask for a better provider to help me through my mental health journey.

Correy Spence is a fantastic Psyciatrist! He so thoughtful, caring knowledgeable, thorough, and very professional! He truly does care about his patience and does everything in his power to help carefully. He’s not quick to prescribe and he’s not doing it just for a bo us on a paycheck. (Unlike many doctors in DFW). I would highly recommend him to friends and family.
