Angela Lauer helps adults and older adults build stability, resilience, and improved mental wellness through personalized psychiatric care. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, she serves patients throughout Texas, providing thoughtful treatment that is tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and life circumstances. Angela works collaboratively with patients to create treatment plans that support lasting progress and empower them to take an active role in their mental health journey. Angela provides care for a broad range of mental health concerns, with particular experience in treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She offers medication management helping patients address symptoms that may affect relationships, work performance, physical health, and overall quality of life. Her approach combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion, allowing patients to feel heard, supported, and respected throughout the treatment process. In addition to her primary areas of focus, Angela helps individuals facing challenges related to ADHD, bipolar disorder, sleep disturbances, substance use concerns, psychotic disorders, and other mental health conditions. Angela has experience working with a variety of patient populations, including first responders and military veterans. She understands the unique stressors these individuals may encounter and is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where patients can work toward meaningful recovery and emotional well-being. She also offers additional services and support for a wide range of mental health needs. She earned her education from Texas Lutheran University and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and has been working in the mental health field since 2017 and practicing since 2021. Angela remains committed to lifelong learning and delivering high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care grounded in current clinical best practices. Outside of her professional role, Angela enjoys time with her family either relaxing, swimming, or golfing, and playing with two rambunctious and loving dogs, a Siberian husky and a German shepherd. She also enjoys watching hockey and is a dedicated Stars fan. She stays active through volleyball and swimming, also enjoying painting, crocheting, cooking, and time with friends.
