Mary Ajayi, MSN, PMHNP,
About Mary Ajayi (She/Her)
Mary is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, individualized care to adults experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and attention-related concerns.
Mary’s approach begins with listening. She takes time to understand each patient’s unique experiences, symptoms, history, goals, and previous treatment experiences rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. She works collaboratively with each patient to develop a thoughtful, evidence-based treatment plan that may include medication management, psychoeducation, supportive interventions, and practical strategies to improve daily functioning and quality of life.
Mary believes psychiatric care works best when it is collaborative and judgment-free. Whether a patient is struggling with persistent sadness, excessive worry, intrusive thoughts, mood instability, changes in thinking or perception, or difficulty with attention and focus, she strives to create a safe environment where patients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their treatment.
Outside of her clinical work, Mary enjoys spending time with her family, dining out, exploring new places and environments, and listening to music. She also values her Christian faith and recognizes the important role that spirituality can play in a person’s overall well-being. For patients who find faith meaningful, Mary is open to incorporating spiritual considerations into care in a respectful and patient-centered manner.
Ultimately, Mary’s goal is to help patients feel comfortable being open and honest about their experiences while working together toward greater stability, wellness, and an improved quality of life.
