Cass Lynn Lyles, PMHNP, helps patients in Wisconsin achieve stability and long-term wellness through compassionate psychiatric care and evidence-based treatment. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, she provides medication management for adolescents, teens, and adults, supporting individuals as they work through challenges such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. She partners with patients to create treatment plans that are both personalized and effective, with a focus on building confidence, balance, and hope for the future. Cass specializes in addressing ADHD, mood disorders, and trauma, integrating medication management with supportive interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and parenting skills strategies. She believes in treating the whole person, ensuring that each patient feels heard and understood while developing tools to improve daily life and overall mental health. Her clinical approach emphasizes collaboration and trust, empowering patients to take an active role in their care. She is especially dedicated to supporting patients who have recently been discharged from a psychiatric hospital. Cass understands that this transition can feel overwhelming and provides consistent, compassionate follow-up care to help patients maintain progress, prevent setbacks, and build resilience as they re-enter daily routines. This focus reflects her passion for helping individuals stabilize and move forward with renewed strength. Cass works with a wide range of populations, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and women navigating unique mental health concerns such as postpartum depression or anxiety. In addition to her specialties, she has experience treating grief, substance use issues, gender identity concerns, and school avoidance, offering comprehensive care to meet the diverse needs of her patients. Outside of her clinical practice, Cass enjoys spending time with her family, attending concerts, visiting local coffee shops, and relaxing with games such as Magic: The Gathering and video games.

See what our patients are saying about Cassandra Lyles

I've seen my fair share of psychiatric clinicians being 40-something and having been diagnosed with a couple different anxiety disorders and PTSD. I'm always a bit apprehensive when starting with a new psych doctor, because I've had below-average experiences, for the most part. It's not for lack of effort on my part. Cassandra Lyles was great right off the bat. She did ask the important questions, but more than that, she listened. For the first time in many years, I truly felt heard by a psych medication prescriber. I cried a couple happy tears as soon as our appointment was done, because I know that with the help of Cass, I'm going to be functioning at a higher level than I have been for many years. I have been out of work for six years now. I once lost a job due to fainting on my first day due to performance and social anxiety--hit a concrete floor my very first day as a vet tech; taken away by ambulance and got some stitches in my scalp at the local hospital. Yes, severe performance and social anxiety can do that. I WANT to get back to my life. I MISS my life. I've accepted that I'm someone who, at least temporarily, requires medication to function normally, and that's okay. We're out here! You're not alone! Some people, like me, DO need the 'extra help' of psych meds, and there is no shame in that--we ARE all unique, and not one brain is exactly chemically the same as the next. Cass seems to understand this. Cass is the second LifeStance clinician I have had an incredible experience with (the other is my therapist, Dr Tory Elliot, whom I've been seeing for close to a year now). Give yourself a chance--whether it's your first or your 20th--and call LifeStance and make an appointment. If it doesn't work out, move on to the next. But what if this time it DOES work out? You're worth it. We all are.

I felt so heard and respected by Cass. When Mr. Rogers said "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping,", I think this is the kind of person he was talking about :’)
