Violeta Cone received her masters and doctorate in counseling and clinical psychology from Sofia University in Bulgaria and works as a therapist in Bloomington, Illinois. She is passionate about empathy and helping people flourish, as they discover their strengths and grow towards their full potential.

In your sessions with her you can expect a trauma-informed and supportive atmosphere, where you will collaboratively walk towards your rich and meaningful life. You will be improving your emotional regulation through mindfulness training, holistic self-care, and strengths-based approach.

Violeta is a psychodynamic therapist, with a special emphasis on the attachment paradigm. You will most often see her using tools from the acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral and cognitive-processing therapies (CBT and CPT), supported by a passion for neuroscience and embodied play methods. She welcomes anyone from the age of 11 through 99, who would be willing to work towards their better mental health.

As an immigrant herself, is hoping to offer help to people going through cultural adaptation. On the days off she enjoys her family and friends, reading, and staying active.
