About Gavriel Knafo (He/Him)

Helping adults across Massachusetts navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being, Gavriel Knafo provides compassionate individual therapy at LifeStance Health. He works collaboratively with young adults and adults to identify obstacles, build on personal strengths, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change. Gavriel believes that therapy is most effective when it is tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, values, and goals, creating a supportive space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered.

Gavriel is particularly passionate about helping individuals facing anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. He recognizes that these challenges can affect relationships, career development, self-esteem, sleep, and overall quality of life. By combining clinical expertise with genuine curiosity about each person’s story, he helps clients gain insight into unhelpful patterns, strengthen coping skills, and move toward lasting emotional growth.

In addition to treating anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, Gavriel supports individuals navigating grief, gender identity concerns, men’s issues, sleep difficulties, and midlife transitions. He has experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community and military veterans and offers care for additional emotional and behavioral concerns. His therapeutic approach draws from evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices, helping clients develop healthy ways to respond to life’s complexities while staying connected to their values.

Since beginning his clinical practice in 2021, Gavriel has been committed to creating an authentic therapeutic relationship that fosters trust, self-discovery, and meaningful progress. He earned his education from Adelphi University and Babson College. His approach emphasizes collaboration and practical skill-building, empowering clients to make sustainable changes that support long-term mental health and wellness.

Outside of his professional work, Gavriel enjoys cooking, exploring coffee culture, staying active through fitness and badminton, and traveling. These interests reflect his appreciation for balance, growth, and experiencing new perspectives—qualities that also inform his work as a therapist.

Gavriel is proud to serve adults throughout Massachusetts, providing therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. Whether clients are seeking support during a difficult period or pursuing personal growth, he is committed to helping them build the tools needed to create a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Gavriel Knafo provides services with supervision.
