She is deeply passionate about supporting clients through adjustment challenges, difficult family dynamics, trauma recovery, grief, and identity exploration. Mackenzie’s work with clients emphasizes emotional safety, self-compassion, skill-building, building insight, and gentle validation. For individuals exploring gender identity, Mackenzie offers affirming care and Gender-Affirmative Medical Readiness Evaluations, ensuring clients feel seen, respected, and supported in their journey toward authenticity. Mackenzie also has experience working with neuro-divergent individuals with ADHD and/or autism spectrum traits. She integrates modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches, tailoring each therapeutic environment to the individual’s unique needs and goals. She is also trained to provide psychological testing for diagnostic clarity and treatment planning. Outside of her clinical practice, Mackenzie enjoys crafting, spending time in nature, and relaxing with her cat. She seeks to bring the same sense of creativity and calm into her therapeutic work.
