Dr Stevens is compassionate Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist with 25 years of experience treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders. Her practice philosophy includes evaluating the whole person in the context of their health, environment and relationships. She has received training in psychopharmacology medication management , and various psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavior therapy and psychodynamic therapy. Some of her special areas of interest are mood and anxiety disorders, Women s mental health, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and working with college age students and their life transitions.
In her free time she enjoys gardening, exercising, hiking, and most outdoor activities which brought her to beautiful Northern California. She realizes that seeking help requires an incredible amount of courage and looks forward to working with you.
