In the interest of patient safety and maintaining the highest level of professional integrity, I generally do not provide prescriptions for controlled substances during the initial assessment and evaluation session. Additionally, I do not complete formal documentation for work or school accommodations related to mental health until we have established a sufficiently long patient relationship that allows for an accurate and comprehensive assessment. This approach ensures that all recommendations and treatments are based on a thorough understanding of your individual needs and circumstances.
