Dr. Lyon is a psychiatrist and pain medicine physician with a particular interest in women’s mental health, anxiety disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, and pain neurophysiology. Dr. Lyon graduated from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles and completed two years of anesthesia residency at the University of California, Irvine. She then went to psychiatry residency at the University of California, San Diego. She was Chief Resident of UCSD Hillcrest, where she was heavily involved in teaching medical students and residents. She went on to complete a fellowship at the University of Washington in Interventional Pain Medicine.

Dr. Lyon enjoys spending time with her family, staying active and enjoying the outdoors.

I came to doctor Lyon because I was suffering from chronic pain for over 14 years! She listened to me over 2 hours meeting! And she recommended for a specific treatment And now after 14 years I can function without pain. There are no words that can express the gratefulness that I have And after suffering from such a pain for so many years, there is no price that will be enough to pay for that treatment! She is a really good Doctor and an amazing person with a lot of patience I highly recommend for her services .

I recently worked with Dr. Lyon to address anxiety and had a wonderful experience. During our first session she helped me feel at ease with her warm and caring demeanor, and I felt like she truly listened to my concerns and took them seriously. Her approach was both compassionate and evidence-based, and I felt understood and respected throughout the process. Thanks to her help, I am in a much better place mentally and emotionally, and I am so grateful for the care and support that she provided!

My experience with Lifestance and Dr. Lyon has always been excellent.. They are dependable, easy to schedule appointments with, and most importantly serve with care. Dr. Lyon is an excellent doctor! Dr Lyon was there for me when I was in a really difficult place. I really appreciate that she took the time to listen and for her expert recommendations. Dr Lyon is kind and compassionate and she gave me a lot of support to pull through. She has really made a big difference in my life.
