Ryan Blum, M.D. is a psychiatrist who works with adults of all ages in medication management and psychotherapy. He graduated from Harvard College and Yale School of Medicine and completed adult psychiatry residency at Yale in 2016. He has worked in a variety of public and private settings and taught students and residents at Yale, UCSF, and OHSU in Portland, Oregon where he currently lives and practices full time. He believes that good psychiatry involves building understanding in depth of who you are and how you developed into this person. He believes that the medical model of psychiatric illness can be helpful, but often falls short in explaining how symptoms and illness are playing a role in your life.
