About Anand Saripalli (He/Him)

Dr. Anand Saripalli, MD, helps adults and older adults across Illinois navigate mental health challenges with a thoughtful, evidence-based approach that combines psychiatric expertise with compassionate care. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, he provides medication management for a wide range of conditions, helping patients better understand their symptoms, improve daily functioning, and work toward meaningful, lasting wellness. He has experience supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, and ADHD, as well as many other mental health concerns. A particular area of passion for Dr. Saripalli is working with individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. He understands that the transition from inpatient to outpatient care can feel overwhelming and works closely with patients to promote stability, reduce the risk of relapse, and build confidence during recovery. By creating personalized treatment plans and fostering strong therapeutic partnerships, he helps patients move forward with greater clarity and support during this critical stage of care. Dr. Saripalli’s practice also includes medication management for alcohol and drug use issues and support for individuals living with complex mental health conditions. He incorporates principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-based approaches to complement psychiatric treatment when appropriate. In addition to his primary specialties, he offers support for a variety of other concerns and serves diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, military veterans, and first responders. He earned his education and medical training through Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, and Chicago Medical School, building a strong foundation in patient-centered psychiatric care. Since beginning practice in 2026, Dr. Saripalli has remained committed to helping patients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their treatment journey. Outside of work, Dr. Saripalli enjoys cooking, playing the violin and guitar, and spending time with family and friends. He stays active through soccer, running, and regular exercise, and enjoys exploring new restaurants, spending time outdoors, and traveling to new destinations.
