About Miheer Sapre (He/Him)

Miheer Sapre, MD, helps adults across Illinois navigate complex mental health challenges with a thoughtful, evidence-based approach that combines psychiatric expertise and compassionate care. As a prescriber at LifeStance Health, he provides medication management for adults and seniors experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and many other psychiatric concerns. He works collaboratively with each patient to understand their goals, symptoms, and life circumstances, creating treatment plans designed to support meaningful and lasting improvement in mental wellness. A particular area of passion for Dr. Sapre is working with individuals who have been recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital. He understands that the transition from inpatient to outpatient care can feel overwhelming and uncertain. By providing consistent follow-up care, medication management, and ongoing support, he helps patients build stability, reduce the risk of relapse, and regain confidence as they move forward in recovery. He also has experience supporting emerging adults navigating life transitions between ages 18 and 25, as well as individuals facing alcohol and drug use issues. Dr. Sapre treats a wide range of mental health conditions and has experience working with adults living with autism spectrum disorders. His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, while also offering care for additional psychiatric concerns. He incorporates mindfulness-based strategies alongside medication management when appropriate, helping patients develop practical tools to support emotional regulation, resilience, and overall well-being. Since beginning practice in 2022, Dr. Sapre has remained committed to helping patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment decisions. He earned his education from the American University of the Caribbean and Western Michigan University. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Sapre enjoys watching and playing sports and is an avid follower of the NFL and NBA. He enjoys fantasy sports, golf, and chess, and has a strong interest in science, outer space, and exploring life’s biggest questions.
