Ariel Vitali, MD, provides thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care to adolescents, adults, and seniors across the state of Maryland. Through medication management and personalized treatment planning, he helps individuals navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and psychosis with both clinical expertise and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience.

Dr. Vitali creates a space where patients feel seen, heard, and supported in building lives anchored in stability, clarity, and growth. They have extensive experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, including those seeking gender-affirmative medical readiness evaluations. Dr. Vitali is of Latin American descent and welcomes Spanish-speaking patients with open arms. Dr. Vitali brings an affirming, collaborative approach to care, integrating the latest research with cultural sensitivity and compassion. His work often centers on helping individuals who have not responded well to past treatments, providing new insights and strategies grounded in current psychiatric best practices.

Outside of clinical work, Dr. Vitali enjoys exploring new cultures through travel, immersing himself in the local science fiction scene, and participating in cosplay. They also enjoy attending live stage musicals, as well as Orioles home games, and tries to get in a few swimming workouts during the week. A tech enthusiast, he also enjoys building PCs and staying up to date with emerging technologies.

Dr. Vitali is a graduate of the University of California at Riverside and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. He completed post-graduate medical training at the University of Connecticut and Texas Tech University and is board-certified in General Psychiatry, board-eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
