Dr. Andrea Naaum is a Psychiatrist in Michigan who has been practicing since 2018. Dr. Naaum holds an honors bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Windsor and her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine. She completed her psychiatric residency at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt program in 2018. Since then, she has worked in a community mental health setting involving both inpatient and outpatient work as well as more acute/specialized care in intensive outpatient programming and assertive community treatment teamwork. For the past two years, Dr Naaum has also served as the section chief of ambulatory psychiatry. She has experience in treating a wide variety of mental health issues in diverse settings and is committed to providing quality care with compassion. She offers an open and trusting environment and is dedicated to promoting empowerment and personal growth in order to help patients meet their goals and be the best version of themselves. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, soccer, art, fashion and spending time with her family.

Dr. Naaum is an exceptional doctor! She is always patient and attentive to my concerns, responding with compassion and understanding. During my first visit, she took the time to identify and evaluate each of my health issues and comorbidities. Despite having to manage concerns regarding the side effects of various medications, she was able to develop a personalized treatment plan that worked for me. Her exceptional skill and dedication to her patients are truly remarkable.

Dr. Andrea Naaum is extremely knowledgeable in many facets of psychiatry. It’s been years since my Traumic Brain Injury and due to my injury, I’ve struggled with depression, anxiety, BPD and insomnia. I never feel rushed nor that I’m just a number during my appointments with Dr. Naaum.she truly cares. Dr. Naaum accepts Telehealth appointments which are super convenient. I’m grateful Dr. Andrea Naaum is my psychiatrist!

I absolutely love Dr. Naaum! She is caring and listens to all of my concerns. She never rushes me out the door like most doctors. She doesn't just throw meds at me, we talk about what's working whats not and she always makes sure I feel good about any changes we make. I really could go on and on. I recommend her to everyone in IOP. She's a great Doctor!!! If you are struggling please go to her!!!
