My name is Zain Choudhry. I am currently 32 years old and have started my psychiatric practice here at Lifestance Health located in Taylor, MI. I was born and raised in Michigan in a small town called Grosse Ile. In 2012, I graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Sciences. Afterwards, I started medical school at St. George’s University and graduated in 2018. I then started my residency back in the state of Michigan at Detroit Wayne County Health Authority. The bulk of my experience is outpatient based and is where my expertise lies. Now that I have finished my residency, I look forward to continue to build my practice while working with those with mental health needs.

They have a decent online website, a patient-portal for appointments, questions, and Telehealth options. 5 stars because this has been the best place for me. I spent 10 years with other doctors, groups, etc. They weren't working long term for me, not even a full year. So far, it's been a success here, so I decided to write this positive review. However, they don't provide any spiritual guidance. I'm looking elsewhere for that anyways. I currently see Dr. Zain Choudhry. He has patiently listened to my past issues and has given excellent advice for my future battles. These appointments have improved my lifestyle. A steady 3y career and the return of my social life seems to prove this true. I'm still working on some anxiety and anger issues but those are non social issues that are improving. I hope to update this review when I see improvements in those areas. Overall, I feel balanced, compared to my past roller-coaster, self-help & self-medicated lifestyle. I finally grew up and searched for help. Took me a bit of searching and reading. If you're reading this far, I hope you strive to do the same.

Absolutely love LifeStance and Dr Zain Choudhry. Their staff is amazing and actually seem to care about their patients/clients. I tried for months to get into a psyche when i was dealing with the worst depression of my life. The staff listened and got me into see someone in a reasonable time. No 6 month wait list. Something that i haven't witnessed in years. Dr Chaudhry listens and does his best for his patients. It took a couple months to get put on the best regimen for me. If they ever lose Dr C, I'll be following him to his next practice. Thank you LifeStance and Dr Choudhry for saving my life.

Highly recommend! I found him through Google reviews online. And I’m glad I went with him. He listens, and doesn’t push medications and also is very knowledgeable. I like that he looks into medication interactions for me and knows his stuff. Makes me feel more comfortable with his guidance with medications. I went through a rough patch with another facility- thought I wouldn’t find anyone to help and listen to me. But I’m glad I found life stance and Dr. Choudry!

Zain is a very well respected doctor in his field. He is kind and direct and does not sugar coat anything. Which most of us dealing with the ailments that we do we need the type of doctor in our lives as such. I appreciate the way that he listens and helps navigate the waters and works with me according to what I as well feel would work for my life style and mental health.

I had a doctor for 15 years. My problems progressed over time, so she continued to prescripe me addictive meds. I was a mess! So I called for help & her response was "What's the big deal." So I looked for a new doctor & found Dr Choudhry. I am so happy with him! He definitely turned my life around. I would definitely recommend him & lifestance!

He is always so understanding. He listens very well and considers everything I say/any concerns I have when creating a treatment plan. I have suggested him to many people I know. I was very nervous at first, but he made me feel welcome and understood from the minute I walked in! I couldn’t have picked a better psychiatrist for myself. :)
