Dr. Johnson is an adult psychiatrist/physician who treats patients ages 18 and older. As a psychiatrist, she utilizes and prescribes medications when appropriate and believes that a combination of medication, regular therapy, and lifestyle modifications including nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, and other self-care methods can help people achieve mental wellness.

Dr. Johnson completed her residency training in psychiatry at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI in 2013 where she served as chief resident in her final year. She is confident in treating all varieties of mental health diagnoses including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders including PTSD, psychotic disorders including schizophrenia, personality disorders including Borderline personality disorder, and ADHD.

Dr. Johnson enjoys working in an outpatient/clinic setting and feels fortunate to develop long term relationships with the patients she cares for. She prides herself in establishing rapport with her patients and taking a very thorough history to determine what is going on for a person diagnostically. This allows her to make the most appropriate treatment recommendations for each unique patient.

The link I received for my telehealth appointment did not work. I called my local LS location & all lines were busy. I chose the option to speak to a general LS representative & she did a wonderful & efficient job of connecting me to my physician. She corrected a frustrating experience.
