Camila Ramirez, MD,
About Camila Ramirez (She/Her)
At LifeStance Health, Camila Ramirez helps adults build stability, improve daily functioning, and move toward lasting emotional wellness through thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care. Serving patients throughout New Jersey, Dr. Ramirez provides medication management for adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, creating treatment plans that are tailored to each personās goals, symptoms, and life circumstances. She believes effective care begins with listening carefully, understanding the whole person, and fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Dr. Ramirez works with adults facing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD, while also supporting individuals managing bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma-related concerns, OCD, sleep disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based psychiatric treatment and emphasizes helping patients gain symptom relief while improving overall quality of life. She has experience working with diverse populations, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and individuals on the autism spectrum, and she welcomes patients from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. A particular area of interest for Dr. Ramirez is the treatment of substance use and alcohol-related concerns. She is passionate about helping individuals understand the connection between mental health and substance use, supporting recovery through compassionate, nonjudgmental care. By addressing both psychiatric symptoms and behavioral health challenges together, she helps patients develop a stronger foundation for long-term wellness and resilience. Since beginning her clinical practice in 2022, Dr. Ramirez has focused on delivering patient-centered psychiatric care that combines clinical expertise with empathy. She earned her education from New York University and New York Medical College, experiences that helped shape her comprehensive understanding of mental health treatment and medication management. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Ramirez enjoys cross-stitching, reading, and baking. These creative and mindful activities reflect her appreciation for balance, patience, and lifelong learning.
