Dr. Preet Joneja is a licensed clinical Psychologist in California who has been practicing since 2000. She has a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science. Dr. Joneja uses a biopsychosocial framework to health and recovery. She applies evidenced based interventions to help clients cope more effectively with stressful situations, mental health problems, addictions, and chronic conditions that interfere with life and physical health. In a collaborative process, Dr. Joneja works with clients to identify the best approach to address their problems, preferences, and personal beliefs. She has training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Outside of work, Dr. Joneja enjoys cooking and yoga. She expresses her creativity through culinary experiences. Her practice of yoga is a respite from the demands of work and life.
