Gina Woltman is a Psychologist in California who has been practicing since 1996. She received her Masters and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant University California School of Professional Psychology and her undergraduate degree from UCLA. Gina has worked in a variety of community mental health and educational settings providing therapy to children, adolescents, parents, and families. Her approach is primarily client centered/cognitive behavioral, focusing on the individual while challenging dysfunctional emotions, maladaptive behaviors, and cognitive processes through a number of goal-oriented applications.

Gina uses a variety of approaches in her practice including mindfulness, humanistic, psychodynamic, psychoeducation, strength-based and solution-focused therapy. You and Gina will work together in identifying therapeutic goals, determining your personal strengths, resources, and assets, exploring and identifying your interactional patterns that drive and sustain your symptoms/distress and reducing those negative experiences and destructive thinking patterns. Gina will also assist you in developing positive coping strategies and increased self-awareness/mindfulness, insights, resources, and skills while working toward positive change in reaching your preferred outcome.

Further, she will help you achieve new perspectives, ways of managing emotions, communicating, and interacting in healthier productive ways. Gina believes therapy is a collaborative process, wherein she assesses her client’s strengths and uses interventions, worksheets, homework, and other techniques to help make improvements. Outside of work, Gina enjoys creating art, specifically pottery, knitting, and mosaics. She also enjoys traveling and reading.
