Traci Time, PsyD
It has been a privilege for me to have worked across my career with diverse individuals, couples, and families, and I have served clients in a multitude of settings. I treat those struggling with a wide range of problems, such as coping with adverse past and present circumstances, trauma, managing transitions, grief and loss, existential conflicts, medical conditions, aging, women’s issues, work-based challenges, and just feeling overwhelmed by day-to-day demands. I have extensive experience working with clients whose careers involve personal creativity. I assist persons struggling to manage relationships, LGBTQ-based difficulties, and post-military adjustment. Additionally, many of those I treat have problems with mood dysregulation, anxiety, parenting challenges, child and adult ADHD, intergenerational and cultural conflicts, academic problems, and issues surrounding separation and divorce.
As a clinical psychologist, I work collaboratively with clients to best determine how therapy can be most effective for them and in assessing continued progress together. I individually tailor the therapeutic work using an integrative framework, drawing upon cognitive behavioral approaches and insight-oriented therapies, and when indicated, using mindfulness-based, humanistic, family systems, or multicultural approaches. In short, I use what works best for each client based on individual needs. All visits are via telehealth for both adults and minors ages 11-17. Because parenting is an integral part of the therapeutic process with children, a parent or other primary caregiver should be available for all sessions when I am working with the minor. Family therapy via telehealth is limited to a maximum of 3 people.
