I enjoy working with adults and couples who are struggling with issues related to transitional difficulties, self-esteem and self-confidence concerns, communication skills, mood disorders, anxiety management difficulties, health concerns, sexual orientation and gender identity development, and parenting skills. I also enjoy working with professionals who are motivated to improve their performance and to move higher up in their careers. I have an extensive background working with college aged individuals, early to late career professionals, and couples. Therapeutically, I work primarily from a cognitive-behavioral therapy framework while also incorporating elements of acceptance and commitment therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, and mindfulness skills into my sessions.

I specialize in treating anxiety and mood disorders, LGBTQ concerns, health psychology issues, disordered eating / body image concerns, couples counseling, substance abuse concerns, and working with issues surrounding diversity and social justice. I have worked in multiple private practices, community mental health centers, inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, an eating disorder treatment facility, and several university counseling centers. I have previously worked as a Licensed Staff Psychologist at UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services. I completed my doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and I completed my masters and specialist degrees in mental health counseling at the University of Florida. I am a licensed psychologist in both California and Florida. I completed my pre-doctoral psychology internship training at Duke University Counseling and Psychological Services and I completed my post-doctoral psychology fellowship at University of California, Berkeley Counseling and Psychological Services.
