Cheryl Carter is a licensed clinical psychologist, who has been practicing since 2016. She received both her Masters and Doctoral Degrees from Adler University (Formerly, The Adler School of Professional Psychology) in Chicago, IL. She completed her pre-doctoral APA-accredited internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Colorado Mental Health Institute at Fort Logan in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Carter specializes in providing individual psychotherapy to adults with histories of complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, grief/loss, and trauma. Dr. Carter is passionate about helping individuals build a positive sense of self, develop resilience, self-awareness, and enhancing their connections with others. In her spare time, Dr. Carter enjoys reading, traveling, chasing her toddler, and spending time with family and friends.
