Elissa McIntosh, PhD, Psychologist in Canton, Massachusetts

Dr. Elissa McIntosh is a Psychologist in Massachusetts who has been practicing since 2023. Dr. McIntosh completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Southern California. She subsequently completed a clinical internship at the VA Boston Healthcare System and a clinical neuropsychology fellowship at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in the Medical Psychology Division. Dr. McIntosh provides neuropsychological evaluation and treatment for adults across the lifespan with varying presentations including neurodevelopmental, medical, neurological, and psychiatric conditions. Each comprehensive evaluation is tailored to the client in light of their unique psychosocial backgrounds, needs, and goals. In addition to producing a comprehensive report, Dr. McIntosh provides a feedback session to review the findings of the evaluation which includes a discussion of each client’s strengths and weaknesses, diagnostic impressions, and tailored recommendations that aim to improve the client’s cognitive, psychological, and physical health. If interested, Dr. McIntosh can provide additional intervention aimed to optimize a client’s cognitive functioning in daily life. Outside of work, Dr. McIntosh enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising outdoors, travel, and exploring new restaurants.
