Dr. Jillian Tuso is a Psychologist in South Carolina who has been practicing since 2021. She earned her doctoral degree from the University of Oregon and completed her pre-doctoral training at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine’s Kennedy Krieger Institute. Dr. Tuso has also specialized in developmental medicine through two fellowships, first at Harvard School of Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and then at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Tuso provides early identification, diagnostic assessment, and treatment services for children with autism and developmental disabilities. She specializes in autism assessment, behavioral feeding therapy for selective eaters and family focused behavioral therapy for children with special needs. Assessment of autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and similar disorders is a primary focus for Dr. Tuso. Through the assessment process, Dr. Tuso helps the family understand their child’s new diagnosis and provides thoughtful and evidence-based recommendations to best support their child’s development. With regard to therapy, Dr. Tuso specializes in behavioral feeding therapy for selective eaters as well as family centered behavior therapy. Dr. Tuso has presented for families and professionals alike to help best support children that are picky eaters and support them as they try to incorporate new foods into their regular diets. Dr. Tuso loves to spend her free time crafting, reading, and spending time outside with her dog.
