Dr. Jessica Williams received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Wright State University’s School of Professional Psychology in 2016. She completed an American Psychological Association-approved internship at Purdue University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, and her previous work experience includes providing individual therapy, group therapy, and testing services in university counseling center settings. She practices from an assimilative integrative Feminist approach to therapy, incorporating techniques from Interpersonal Process Approach therapy, CBT, ACT, DBT, CPT, CFT, IFS, and other theories as appropriate to suit client needs.

At the core of her integrative feminist approach is an honoring of clients’ strengths, resilience, and unique cultural and contextual factors that influence and are influenced by presenting concerns. She currently provides individual therapy for adults ages 18 to 45. She is trained as a generalist, and her areas of special interest include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, LGBTQ+ concerns, trans-affirming care, Autism Spectrum Disorder in adults, women’s issues and identity concerns.
