Dr. Kathy Van Stone is a compassionate and interactive licensed psychologist with over 15 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy to adults, couples, and groups. She has worked with a diverse population, offering assessment, consultation, and treatment in long-term nursing care facilities, and as the staff psychologist at a Beverly Hills internal medicine practice for six years.

Dr. Van Stone specializes in helping individuals cope with depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, chronic illnesses (including HIV/AIDS), and LGBTQ concerns. Her childhood abroad and clinical work in Southeast Asia give her a unique perspective when working with clients.

She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Trinity University in San Antonio and both her master’s and doctoral degrees at the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles.
