Dr. Michelle R. Myers Pagoria is a clinical Psychologist specializing in adult and geriatric neuropsychological assessment. Dr. Pagoria graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology before earning her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University. Prior clinical experience includes appointments at John H. Stroger Jr., Cook County Hospital, University of Chicago Hospital Memory Disorder Clinic, St. James Olympia Fields Hospital, North Central College Dyson Wellness Clinic, and The Invisible Threads Memory Care Program at Presence Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Pagoria completed her Pre-Doctoral Internship at the Indiana Neuroscience Institute, where her training emphasized outpatient and inpatient psychological and neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan. During Post-Doctoral Fellowship with Neuropsychological Services, P.C., she worked closely with the Brain Injury Waiver Program treating individuals with both acquired and traumatic brain injuries. Post-Doctoral work also included inpatient and outpatient evaluation and differential diagnosis of various psychiatric, neuropsychiatric, and neurodegenerative disorders. Dr. Pagoria continues to work in both residential and outpatient settings. Clinical interests include neurodegenerative diseases and dementias, seizure disorders, strokes, multiple sclerosis, attention-related disorders, oncology-related neurocognitive dysfunction, movement disorders, and traumatic brain injury. Dr. Pagoria continues to maintain involvement in professional meetings and presentations. She is also contributing editor and author of several professional publications, including the Encyclopedia of Neuropsychological Disorders, and Neuropsychology of Cancer & Oncology. Dr. Pagoria proudly served the larger Chicago-land community prior to opening TNG 2012. In spring 2020, she relocated to the northern suburbs of Dallas, Texas with her family. Dr. Pagoria maintains her clinical psychology license in Illinois and in Texas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, live music, staying physically active, and exploring the big, sunny state of Texas!
