About Jennifer Sachek (She/Her)

Jen Sachek, Ph.D., obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from Michigan State University in 2007. She practiced as a licensed psychologist in Michigan before moving to the Seattle area in 2016. She is currently licensed in Washington and Michigan. Dr. Sachek specializes in working with adults with a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship problems, grief/loss, and trauma. She works with clients in a warm, collaborative environment to identify areas where they struggle, and to find ways to create change in those areas. Dr. Sachek’s approach involves helping clients improve self-awareness and develop better ways to cope with their emotions. She integrates treatment strategies from various modalities (e.g. insight-oriented, CBT, mindfulness, DBT) to gear treatment toward each specific client’s needs.
