Sara Mueller, LCPC, is a compassionate, relaxed therapist that educates and supports clients while they learn, grow, and heal. Sara uses skills and approaches from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy( CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in a client- centered atmosphere. When appropriate, she incorporates art or expressive therapy to help clients express feelings and articulate emotions. In every case, Sara seeks to tailor her treatment to best meet client needs. Sara earned a graduate degree in Counseling from National Louis University. In her free time, she likes to paint, read, enjoy the outdoors, listen to music, and spend time with her dog, friends, and family.
