Deciding to see a therapist is a big step to addressing your issues, so congratulations! I know life is good . . . except for when it’s NOT. The human condition comes with all sorts of rich and rewarding experiences but there are also times when life is challenging, confusing, overwhelming, and emotionally exhausting. I believe that people are more resilient than they realize. I am here to help you come to this realization by working with you to reach your goals of achieving wellness, healing, and success. My philosophy is that you are the expert of yourself and I merely serve as a guide to help you develop into what you are meant to be. Working in collaboration, I would like you to feel better, empowered, more fulfilled, and equipped to handle the ups and downs of life. Overall, my ultimate goal is to help you learn how to help yourself, see you improve the quality of your life and achieve your full potential.

I am a licensed professional counselor and also a licensed behavior specialist in Pennsylvania. I have over 10 years of experience and I have provided over 10,000+ hours working with a variety of clientele ranging from children and adolescents to adults with various diagnoses and in multiple settings. I work with patients from late adolescence through all adult ages. Using an eclectic approach to counseling, I incorporate developmental, cognitive and mindfulness approaches to address a variety of issues including maladaptive behaviors, poor self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship problems (platonic, familial, or amorous) as well as grief and trauma processing. With an educational focus in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, I also have a special interest in working with people that have experienced work-related issues, including stress and burnout.

In 2007, I earned my Master’s in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. My concentration was in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. While there, I did part of my internship at the Saint Joseph’s University Career Center in Philadelphia, PA and became a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology. In addition, I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA; and lastly, I have a Human Resource Management Certificate from Villanova University in Villanova, PA..
