I specialize in providing support to individuals who have experienced trauma and desire a deeper understanding of self within their current environment and interpersonal relationships. I have extensive experience helping build insight within a variety of settings and levels of care.

Some presenting issues I work with include issues related to substance abuse, stage of life issues, eating disorders, relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, issues related to culture and ethnicity, issues related to gender and sexual orientation, and attachment ruptures within family systems. I have trained in traditional methods such as Psychodynamic and Family Systems, then integrated knowledge of holistic approaches such as Mindfulness and Somatic Experiencing as well as behavioral methodology such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

I utilize a person focused, strengths based approach, and believe in tailoring each client’s treatment to the needs of the individual. I truly believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and the power of connection in providing a space for healing and growth.

I earned her B.A. in Psychology at UCBerkeley, and then my M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University after studying Law & Ethics at the University of SF Law School.
