About Jessie Wilson (She/Her)
Jessie Wilson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Tennessee who has been practicing since 2019. She has a BA in Psychology from Simpson University and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. Jessie has worked in the field for more than 16 years. The first 15 were spent working in the trauma realm assisting with reunification of children that had been removed from their parents. During this time not only was Jessie able to work with the children and foster parents, but also the biological parents. It was a very holistic setting and a great way to really see some growth and progress with all. Jessie has worked with all ages and stages.
She has experience not only in trauma but drug and alcohol mental health from mild to severe. She has experience with people that are mandated to therapy and those that are seeking it out for themselves. Jessie works from a Solutions Focused, Cognitive Behavioral standpoint. She truly likes to find the positive and focus on moving forward. Jessie has had a lot of experience working with body image issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, PTDS, among others.
In her free time, Jessie is an outdoors person and loves riding horses and quads and anything that takes her to the top of a mountain top or to the ocean. She loves being a mom and a wife and everything that goes along with that. She is passionate about well care and uses a lot of essential oils to assist in daily life. She loves to sing and travel whenever she can.
