About Gerald LeBoeuf Jr. (He/Him)
Gerald LeBoeuf Jr., LMFT, helps children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older adults build healthier coping skills, strengthen relationships, and navigate life challenges with greater confidence and resilience. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at LifeStance Health, he provides mental health care to individuals, couples, and families throughout California. Gerald works collaboratively with clients to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, and substance use issues, creating treatment plans that are tailored to each person’s unique experiences, goals, and strengths. Gerald has extensive experience supporting clients across different stages of life, from young children experiencing behavioral challenges to adults managing emotional, relational, or mental health concerns. He believes that meaningful change occurs when clients feel understood and supported, and he strives to create a therapeutic space that encourages growth, self-awareness, and lasting progress. In addition to his primary specialties, he offers support for a wide range of mental health conditions and life transitions. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gerald helps clients develop practical tools to manage symptoms and improve daily functioning. He also incorporates family and relationship-focused strategies when appropriate, recognizing the important role that connection and communication play in emotional well-being. Clients may benefit from his experience providing individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, group therapy, and higher levels of behavioral health support. Gerald is committed to helping clients facing anxiety, depression, and alcohol or drug use issues. He is passionate about assisting individuals who are working to overcome barriers that interfere with their quality of life, whether those challenges stem from emotional distress, relationship difficulties, or unhealthy coping patterns. His approach emphasizes both accountability and compassion, empowering clients to make meaningful, sustainable changes while building on their existing strengths. He earned his education from Argosy University and California Polytechnic University Pomona. Throughout his career, Gerald has worked with a diverse range of clients and understands that effective therapy must be personalized, flexible, and grounded in trust. Outside of his clinical work, Gerald enjoys exploring true crime stories, playing musical instruments, engaging with music and art, and finding creative outlets that inspire curiosity and connection.
