Cherrelle Brown, LMFT, helps adults across California navigate life’s complexities with compassion and evidence-based care. Through individual, couples, and family therapy, she creates a supportive environment for those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles. Cherrelle welcomes clients from all walks of life and is especially attuned to the diverse emotional and psychological needs of the communities she serves. Whether addressing long-standing emotional pain or a recent life transition, she works collaboratively with clients to promote clarity, growth, and healing.

Cherrelle is passionate about supporting individuals through the emotional impact of substance use issues, grief, and trauma. She offers a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore the underlying patterns contributing to distress and begin the process of meaningful change. Cherrelle’s trauma-informed approach helps individuals reclaim their sense of agency and rebuild trust—both in themselves and in their relationships. Her work with grief and loss also integrates understanding of complex bereavement and reproductive challenges, helping clients process pain with gentleness and care.

With over a decade of experience, Cherrelle is skilled in treating conditions like bipolar disorder, postpartum anxiety, sleep difficulties, and midlife transitions. She frequently works with first responders, military veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ and foster care communities. Drawing on techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and couples/family interventions, she tailors her approach to fit the unique needs of every individual or relationship. Additional specialties and therapeutic interventions are also available depending on the client’s specific concerns.

Outside of her clinical work, Cherrelle finds peace and renewal in walking along the beach and spending time in nature—experiences that inspire the calm, grounding presence she brings into therapy.
