Nicole Hoefer, LMFT, helps adults navigate life challenges with compassion, practical support, and evidence-based therapy. As a Marriage and Family Therapist at LifeStance Health, she provides therapy for patients across California, helping people build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful change. Nicole works with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting individuals through other emotional, relational, and life-transition challenges. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to everyone’s needs. Nicole incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients better understand thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She has experience supporting adults from a variety of backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, military veterans, and first responders. In addition to her primary areas of expertise, she offers support for concerns such as ADHD, alcohol and drug use issues, bipolar disorder, grief, later-life transitions, women’s issues, and other mental health needs.
