About Alejandra Ramirez Hernandez (She/Her)

Alejandra Ramirez Hernandez, LPCC, helps individuals and families navigate life’s challenges by fostering emotional healing, resilience, and personal growth. Serving children, adolescents, teens, and adults across California, she offers a compassionate and inclusive space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. At LifeStance Health, Alejandra provides individual, family, and group therapy, along with support in higher levels of care such as IOP and PHP. Her integrative approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.

Alejandra is particularly passionate about supporting individuals working through ADHD, PTSD and trauma, and gender identity exploration. Using trauma-informed care, TF-CBT, and play therapy, she helps children and teens make sense of difficult emotions and experiences, while also guiding adults through the impact of past wounds. Her dedication to working with LGBTQ+ individuals creates a safe, affirming space to explore identity, build self-esteem, and navigate the complexities of societal and internalized pressures. Whether a client is coping with childhood behavior challenges, school avoidance, or post-partum anxiety, Alejandra offers a supportive and culturally responsive path toward healing.

As a proud first-generation Latina and bilingual Spanish-speaking therapist, Alejandra is deeply committed to empowering marginalized communities. Her own background informs her advocacy to reduce mental health stigma and promote equity in care. She believes therapy should reflect both clinical excellence and cultural sensitivity.

Outside of her work, Alejandra is a trained dancer who values expression, discipline, and creativity. She enjoys hiking in nature, exploring global cultures, reading fantasy romance novels, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
