Allison Kleponis, MSW, LCSW,
About Allison Kleponis (She/Her)
Allison Kleponis supports adults and seniors across California in navigating life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. She helps individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions develop strategies to improve their well-being and regain balance. By providing a safe, supportive space, Allison empowers her clients to build resilience and find new ways of approaching life’s difficulties.
Allison is especially passionate about working with clients facing later-life transitions, cognitive issues, Alzheimer’s disease, and the unique stresses that come with aging. She also provides vital caregiver support, helping families and loved ones manage the emotional and practical challenges that arise when caring for someone with complex health or memory needs. Through her thoughtful approach, Allison brings both empathy and clinical expertise to guide clients through some of life’s most overwhelming experiences.
Drawing on interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices, Allison tailors her therapeutic approach to each client’s goals and circumstances. She also has experience working with diverse populations, including military veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals navigating trauma and complex mental health challenges. In addition to these focus areas, she offers support for a variety of other mental health concerns to meet the unique needs of her clients.
When she’s not in session, Allison enjoys creative and social activities that bring balance to her life. She spends her free time playing board games, collaging, exploring photography, and being with family and friends. These interests reflect her belief in the importance of connection, creativity, and self-care—values she integrates into her therapeutic practice.
