About Debra Richardson (She/Her)

Debra Richardson, LCSW, helps children, adolescents, teens, and adults navigate life challenges with compassion, structure, and practical support. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at LifeStance Health, she provides therapy to patients throughout California, creating a welcoming space where individuals, couples, and families can address emotional, behavioral, and relationship concerns while building skills for long-term well-being. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, and she also offers support for a wide range of additional mental health concerns. Her therapeutic approach is personalized to each client’s needs and goals. Debra incorporates evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. She also provides couples counseling, family therapy, and additional therapeutic services designed to strengthen communication, improve relationships, and foster emotional growth. Debra has experience supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals involved in adoption or foster care, and people with autism spectrum disorders, while also serving many other populations. Outside of her clinical work, Debra enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. As well as volunteering at special events that support children and individuals affected by cancer.
