Emily Frugoli, MA, LMFT,
About Emily Frugoli (She/Her)
Emily Frugoli, LMFT, helps adolescents, teens, and adults navigate life challenges with compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based care. As a Marriage and Family Therapist at LifeStance Health, she partners with patients across California who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, or significant life transitions. Emily creates a supportive, nonjudgmental space where individuals and couples can gain insight, build resilience, and develop practical tools to improve emotional well-being and strengthen relationships. Emily also has experience supporting individuals facing women’s issues, reproductive challenges, and postpartum depression. Her approach emphasizes personalized support, helping patients process difficult emotions, build coping strategies, and reconnect with their strengths during seasons of change and uncertainty. Her therapeutic style is collaborative and grounded in proven interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and EMDR, along with additional evidence-based approaches when appropriate. Emily believes meaningful growth occurs when people feel heard, understood, and empowered. Whether she is supporting a teenager navigating adolescence, a couple working to improve communication, or an adult coping with life transitions, she focuses on helping patients build lasting skills that can support long-term emotional health and personal growth. Outside of her clinical work, Emily enjoys spending time in nature, traveling to new cities and countries, and attending concerts and live music events.
