Christal Acosta, MSPSY, LMFT,
About Christal Acosta (She/Her)
Christal Acosta, LMFT, helps children, teens, and young adults across California develop the skills and confidence needed to navigate emotional challenges, strengthen relationships, and build healthier futures. At LifeStance Health, she provides individual and family therapy in a supportive, collaborative environment where patients feel understood and empowered. Christal works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and PTSD/trauma, while also supporting a range of additional mental health concerns and life stressors. Drawing from evidence-based therapeutic approaches, Christal tailors treatment to the unique needs of each patient and family. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques, while utilizing additional interventions as appropriate. Her goal is to help patients gain insight into their experiences, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change. As a bilingual therapist, Christal provides services in both English and Spanish, helping make quality mental health care more accessible for Spanish-speaking individuals and families. She values creating a welcoming space where patients from diverse backgrounds feel respected, supported, and heard throughout their therapeutic journey. Outside of her clinical practice, Christal enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, exploring hiking trails, reading books, and building LEGO sets.
