Maria “Lupe” Rodriguez, LMFT, helps teens, adults, and seniors across California navigate emotional challenges, strengthen relationships, and build healthier coping strategies through compassionate, evidence-based care. At LifeStance Health, Maria provides individual and family therapy tailored to each client’s unique experiences, supporting those facing anxiety, depression, and trauma with a thoughtful, client-centered approach. Maria has a strong clinical focus on anxiety, depression, and trauma, recognizing how these concerns can impact daily functioning, relationships, and overall well-being. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop practical skills for managing emotions, reducing distress, and creating meaningful change. Her approach is collaborative and culturally responsive, and she offers additional areas of support to meet a wide range of client needs. Her goal is to promote continuity of care, reduce the risk of relapse, and support long-term recovery. Maria has experience working with diverse populations, including individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, those involved in adoption or foster care, and individuals with autism spectrum disorders. She treats adolescents and teens, as well as adults across the lifespan, and offers therapy in Spanish to better support her community. Outside of her clinical work, Maria enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies and the Olympics, reading, and cooking.
